Framework to take copyright on the road

From May to October 2010, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) will host a series of workshops around the country, giving vocational education and training (VET) practitioners the opportunity to get on top of the key issues around copyright.

The workshops will be conducted by the Framework’s Copyright Officer, Vanessa Tuckfield, who provides expert advice on the issues of copyright and intellectual property for the VET sector and maintains the Framework’s Copyright Kitchen online resource.

The workshop will consist of the following three sessions:

• Copyright in education: The basics
• E-learning resources workshop: So you want to put that music into your PowerPoint presentation?
• Copyright for managers.
