CS&H - National Careers and Employment Roadshow

The Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council (CS&H ISC) is holding a series of free information sessions showcasing four new ISC resources which are designed to help people determine a pathway to employment and training opportunities in the CS&H industries.

The workshops mark the official launch of:

  • two new websites - CareersthatMatter.com.au which provides information on careers, labour market information and workforce participation in the CS&H industries; and PathwaysthatMatter.com.au, an online tool assisting job seekers learn about career pathways in CS&H industries.
  • a new addition to the MAGIC Resource Kit which features materials to assist you in establishing programs for people with a disability looking for work in the CS&H industries. The existing MAGIC resources; Parents Returning to the Workforce and Mature Aged Workers, will also be referenced. Everyone attending a workshop will receive a MAGIC Resource Kit at event registration.
  • an online resource called The Competency Matrix. This website provides easy and intuitive navigation through the qualifications, units of competency and skill sets within the CS&H training packages.

Everyone is welcome to attend, especially people with a disability, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander job seekers, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and mature aged job seekers.
