What's on
AgriFood 2010 National Conference

Registrations are now open for the AgriFood 2010 National Conference which will be held in Melbourne on 23 September.

Some 200 leading industry and government representatives are expected to attend and speakers will focus on contemporary and future issues affecting agrifood, the economy, employment, training and workplace capacity as well as current and future skill, workforce and training needs.

The conference theme is Australia's Regions: Australia's Future and an informative program has been built around the critical importance of regional Australia.

Conference participants will also be able to explore industry challenges and discuss findings from the Environmental Scan 2010: A perfect storm of shortages... are we ready?

The recipients of the three International Fellowships Awards will be announced at the conference dinner, which will be held on 22 September 2010 (the night prior to the conference). See the Agri-food Skills Australia Fellowships article in this month’s issue of Training Packages @ Work.

For more information and to register for the conference, contact Sally Wagnon on 02 6163 7240, sally.wagnon@agrifoodskills.net.au or visit the AgriFood 2010 National Conference webpage.
