The aim of the national vocational education and training system is to deliver consistent, high-quality, nationally recognised training to all Australians.

The ‘delivery basics’ section of this resource gives an introduction to some of the key issues, processes and concepts related to the delivery of nationally recognised training in Australia. The articles give a brief overview and explore how they relate to the delivery of vocational education and training.

The first article, the implementation and use of training packages, looks at the practical aspects of using training packages to deliver training. The following articles go into greater detail about particular aspects of training packages and the delivery of training.
